U.S. Revokes Visas Of Foreign Nationals Who Celebrated Charlie Kirk’s Assassination

The U.S. State Department announced on Tuesday the revocation of visas for several foreign nationals who celebrated the September 10th assassination of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk or mocked other Americans.

In a statement posted on X, the State Department asserted that the U.S. has “no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans” and pledged to continue identifying and removing visa holders who celebrated the “heinous assassination.”

The department shared examples of posts that led to the revocations, stating:

  • An Argentine national had their visa revoked for stating Kirk “devoted his entire life spreading racist, xenophobic, misogynistic rhetoric” and deserved to “burn in hell.” The individual also wrote, “charlie kirk can rest in f——g p–s…”
  • A South African national’s visa was revoked after a post that referred to TPUSA supporters as “neanderthals” and “white nationalist trailer trash!”
  • A Mexican national lost their visa for stating Kirk “died being a racist, he died being a misogynist” and arguing that “there are people who deserve to die… would make the world better off dead.”

The State Department also confirmed the revocation of visas for a Brazilian national, a German national, and a Paraguayan national for similar celebratory or mocking posts.

The department reiterated its commitment to enforcing immigration laws, stating, “Aliens who take advantage of America’s hospitality while celebrating the assassination of our citizens will be removed.”
