NCBA continues fighting to keep Mandatory Country-of-Origin Labeling out of the Farm Bill

Farm Action

Ranchers are required to help fund the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, even as it lobbies against one of their top priorities.

More than 60% of NCBA’s revenue comes from beef checkoff contracts funded by mandatory fees paid by ranchers.

Yet NCBA continues fighting to keep Mandatory Country-of-Origin Labeling out of the Farm Bill.

Consumers deserve to know where their beef comes from.

American ranchers deserve better than an organization that claims to represent them while lobbying against policies many have spent years trying to restore.

Congress should pass Mandatory Country-of-Origin Labeling and let American beef compete on a level playing field.
