Trump Boots South Africa From 2026 G20 In Florida, Citing ‘Genocide’ And Farm Seizures

President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that South Africa is officially barred from the upcoming G20 summit in Miami, declaring an immediate halt to all U.S. aid and subsidies to the nation.

The announcement marks a dramatic escalation in diplomatic tensions, with the President accusing the South African government of ignoring “horrific human rights abuses” against Afrikaners and other descendants of European settlers.

In a blistering statement posted to Truth Social, Trump linked the United States’ absence from the recent G20 gathering in South Africa directly to reports of violence against white farmers. He accused the host nation of allowing farmland to be seized and stated bluntly that “they are killing white people.”

“South Africa has demonstrated to the World they are not a country worthy of Membership anywhere,” Trump wrote.

The diplomatic rift appeared to widen during the summit’s conclusion. According to the President, South African officials refused to participate in the traditional handover of the G20 Presidency to a senior representative from the U.S. Embassy who was present at the closing ceremony.

In response to the snub and the alleged abuses, Trump confirmed that South Africa will not receive an invitation to the 2026 G20, set to be hosted in Miami.

The President also took aim at mainstream media outlets, specifically the New York Times, accusing them of failing to cover what he termed a “genocide.”

“The Fake News Media won’t issue a word against this,” he stated. “That’s why all the Liars and Pretenders of the Radical Left Media are going out of business!”

The freeze on payments and subsidies is effective immediately, signaling a potential rupture in U.S.-South Africa relations as the administration pivots its focus to next year’s summit in Florida.
