Lone Holdout Juror’s Attorney Plans to File Bar Complaint Against Lindsay Clancy’s Lawyer
Lindsay Clancy’s defense attorney Kevin Reddington may be about to face serious legal consequences for alleged juror intimidation.
The attorney for Michael Desronvil — the famous lone juror who refused to acquit Lindsay Clancy of murdering her three young children — has announced plans to file a bar complaint against Reddington due to his insane behavior following the trial.
During an exclusive interview with Fox News‘ Kayleigh McEnany, Desronvil’s attorney Edward Paltzik ripped into Reddington and discussed his next steps.

EXCLUSIVE: The attorney for the lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy trial speaks to Fox News for the first time, telling Kayleigh McEnany that Clancy’s lawyer, Kevin Reddington, could face a bar complaint over his conduct involving the lone holdout juror, Michael Desronvil.
Asked whether he intends to file a complaint, Edward Paltzik answered, “100%,” then accused Reddington of conduct he says falls short of the standards expected of an attorney.
Paltzik details what prompted him to take that step.

WOW! Lindsay Clancy holdout juror Michael Desronvil’s attorney just went on national TV to DESTROY Clancy lawyer Kevin Reddington’s smears and lies
“He had ZERO doubt. NO doubt.”
“Kevin Reddington is CLEARLY attacking the 6th Amendment! He’s CLEARLY attacking the right to trial by jury. HE IS OFF THE RAILS.”
Standing strong! It’s SICK that a juror, through his attorney, has to go on national television to DEFEND HIS NAME from another attorney from that trial.
This has been juror intimidation the entire time. Who leaked the name? INVESTIGATE REDDINGTON!
After the Clancy trial ended in a mistrial, Reddington has been publicly slandering Desronvil on his media tour.
He has also filed a motion to investigate Desronvil, which would include summoning his phone records.
USA Today provided some additional background:
In a previous statement to Fox News Digital, Reddington said Paltzik “ought to learn how to go into the courtroom and articulate his position rather than be a histrionic individual that’s just mouthing off to the media.”
“I think the biggest misconception is that this individual is referred to as the holdout juror. He, in fact, is the obstructionist juror,” Reddington said.
Reddington has filed several motions since the trial ended, including one requesting records related to Desronvil, who is referred to as “Juror Doe” in the motion. It calls in part for him to turn his phone over to a neutral examiner after another juror said Desronvil was on his phone during deliberations. The case is set to return to court on Sept. 29, where the motions may be addressed.
On Reddington’s motions, including one about the holdout’s phone and another requesting the case be dismissed on double jeopardy grounds, Paltzik said they are “not even one percent reasonable.”
“Those motions should be denied because 11-1 is not 12-0,” Paltzik said.
In his previous comments to Fox News Digital, Reddington said “every motion that has been filed is legitimate.”
When McEnany asked Paltzik whether he intends to file a bar complaint against Reddington, he responded, “One hundred percent.”
A bar complaint is a filing alleging an attorney has acted in violation of the standards of professional conduct set by a state’s licensing authority for attorneys.
In Massachusetts, where Reddington practices, initial complaint filings are confidential, according to the state’s Office of the Bar Counsel.
Paltzik alleged that Reddington’s “conduct is not consistent with the standards of professionalism that we expect from members of the bar.”
In addition to the motion regarding his client’s phone, Paltzik also took issue with Reddington referring to the holdout as “he” during the trial proceedings and in comments to the media. There were three males seated on the jury of 12.
“We’re not going to have a criminal justice system if jurors are afraid of reprisals,” Paltzik said.
Paltzik’s remarks come just one day before the Clancy case returns to the courtroom.
On Tuesday, the court will hear several of Reddington’s motions — likely including his call to investigate Michael Desronvil.
Per CT Insider:
Clancy is scheduled to return to the Plymouth courthouse Tuesday for a hearing that is expected to address several defense motions seeking to dismiss the case and acquit her.
One motion asks Judge William Sullivan to investigate the juror’s alleged domestic violence history and their alleged cellphone use during deliberations
Court records show Desronvil was charged with assault and battery on a family or household member in September 2021, after police said he grabbed a woman by the throat and threw her into a dresser. The charge was dismissed three months later. Records also show a restraining order was issued against Desronvil but has since expired.
Paltzik said the allegations “never happened” and were “categorically false.”
Paltzik described Desronvil as a “quiet, private” person, a “deep thinker” and a “devout Catholic.” He said Desronvil was “proud of his Haitian heritage” and “proud to be a citizen” of the United States. The attorney previously revealed he supports President Donald Trump, whom Paltzik has represented in multiple legal matters in recent years.
“Michael is the last person who would ever seek the spotlight, want the spotlight, crave the spotlight,” Paltzik said. “This is just a moment that found him.”
