Letters filled fentanyl and other lethal drugs were sent to election offices in Fulton County, Georgia.
As of Thursday authorities have not been able to identify the sender of the letters and have not released any names of potential suspects.
Georgia wasn’t the only state hit with fentanyl laced letters.
The state of Washington also hit with fentanyl laced letters on Election Day.
Authorities in Washington stated “Local law enforcement officials announced the substances in Kings and Spokane counties field-tested positive for fentanyl.”
They continued “Four county election offices had to be evacuated as election workers were processing ballots cast in Tuesday’s election.”

Per PBS:
Authorities on Thursday were trying to determine who sent letters filled with fentanyl or other substances to local election offices, an attack that appears to have targeted multiple states in the latest instance of threats faced by election workers around the country.
Among the offices that may have been targeted was Fulton County in Georgia, which includes Atlanta and is the largest voting jurisdiction in one of the nation’s most important presidential swing states.
There is no immediate indication that any other election office in Georgia was a target for the letters, according to an advisory sent by the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency and obtained by The Associated Press. Fulton County officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The potential Georgia connection surfaced a day after authorities in Washington state said four county election offices had to be evacuated as election workers were processing ballots cast in Tuesday’s election, delaying vote-counting.
Election offices in Seattle’s King County and ones in Skagit, Spokane and Pierce counties received envelopes containing suspicious powders. Local law enforcement officials said the substances in Kings and Spokane counties field-tested positive for fentanyl. In at least one other case, the substance was baking soda.

The Post Millennial reported that one of the letters in Washington had ANTIFA symbols:
The Post Millennial obtained an exclusive copy of the letter sent to the Pierce County election office in Tacoma, Washington that featured an anarchist message and symbols of Antifa, the trans pride progress flag, and the occult.
“End elections now. Stop giving power to the right that they don’t have. We are in charge now and there is no more need for them. Also be aware your ballot drops are very susceptible to noxious chemicals like AM/BL. They are unsafe to the public. Just saying,” read a letter that appears to have been sent from Portland, Oregon.
