A North Dakota jury just hit Greenpeace with a $345 MILLION penalty for the 2016 Dakota Access Pipeline chaos.
Doug Burgum (then Governor, now Interior Secretary) lays it out:
• Thousands of protesters illegally camping on federal land
• Obama admin putting their thumb on the scale for the radicals
• Ranchers & farmers terrorized
• Rampant crime: trespassing, human trafficking, drugs, and violence
This wasn’t “peaceful protest.” It was organized disruption that hurt the Standing Rock Tribe, local communities, and the rule of law.
